Day 173, 7-26-10

We spent the night at Nana's as a family tonight. There was much alcohol to be had. Marc drank a Tactical Nuclear Penguin, a beer with 32% alcohol. I stuck to wine.

Day 172, 7-25-10

Snuggling with my still sick baby. Photo taken with my new iPhone.

Day 171, 7-24-10

Think he got a little sweaty playing out in the heat?!

Day 170, 7-23-10

Chuck is finally tolerating sunglasses on his face. Unfortunately, he prefers mine to any of his.

Day 168, 7-21-10

With my new iPhone I purchased several new toddler apps. Chuck's favorite is a counting one. Since he has been so sick, I have let him play on my phone a lot. Here he is enjoying the counting app.

Day 167, 7-20-10

Have I mentioned that Chuck has been sick for several days now? He hasn't played as much has he usually does and has been sitting in this chair a lot. Poor little thing.

Day 166, 7-19-10

Following up on yesterday's picture, here is a look at what Chuck enjoyed playing with today.

Day 165, 7-18-10

As a parent you spend tons of money on fancy toys. Here is what he chose to play with this evening.

Day 164, 7-17-10

Chuck discovered ketchup today. First he was dunking a fry in it and sucking the ketchup off. Then he decided it is faster to just use your hands. This was taken by my husband on his iPhone.

Day 163, 7-16-10

Today Chuck and I went to the Museum of Transportation. As we pulled into our parking spot, he said, "Choo-choo!" and I knew I made the right decision to bring him! However, he was a little cranky as time went on and the temperature went up.

Day 162, 7-15-10

Chillin' at the Vet's office....

Day 161, 7-14-10

Chuck got a sticker at the grocery store today. This is where he put it. LOL.

While Chuck and I were playing outside, he slipped and fell and scraped up his face. Mostly here you can just see all the dirt he got on his poor face!

Day 159, 7-12-10

Showing less and less fear on his climber:

He was up at 10 pm. I was trying to just get a picture of how awake and happy he was. He wouldn't look at me, so I started singing Itsy Bitsy Spider. I have done the hand motions for him before, but not a ton. He had never done them with me at all. I didn't even realize he was doing them until the end of the song! I so wish I had been zoomed out a little to fully catch his arm motions!

Getting ready to wash the spider out:

Day 157, 7-10-10

Day 156, 7-9-10

Today I met up with a dear high school friend and we took our kids to the top of the Arch.
Chuck was not too thrilled when we first got into the egg to go to the top.
Not everyone was excited about the trip to the top

He did get into looking out the window. He kept calling the tug boat a "choo-choo."

Day 155, 7-8-10

Day 154, 7-7-10

Marc and I went out to dinner and then saw Wicked. It was my first time seeing it and I LOVED it! We ate dinner at Pi, and had their amazing garlic bread.

Day 153, 7-6-10

So....I didn't notice until I was looking at the pictures, but that is blood on his chin. He slipped and hit his mouth on the climber and busted his lip a little.

Day 152, 7-5-10

Today I bought a climber through Craigslist. He didn't really climb it, but preferred to stay on the lower level.

Day 149, 7-2-10

What happens when you feed pasta with tomato sauce to a tired boy? He rubs his eyes, of course!

I love this set of pictures. Really shows how huge my baby is getting!

Day 148, 7-1-10

Why do we spend money on toys for our children? These bottles of water were a huge hit for an hour!

Day 147, 6-30-10

I have no idea how this happened, but I did not take a single picture today. Chuck and I drove home from the reunion, stopped to see Daddy at the firehouse, then got home and unpacked. So....I share with you instead a couple other pictures from the reunion.

Enough with the pictures, Mom
Enough with the pictures, Mom.
Bringing the laptop and some Thomas DVDs saved my sanity at naptime and when he woke up at 3:30am.
The laptop and Thomas were lifesavers at naptime and in the middle of the night.

Day 146, 6-29-10

This is a view from around the park where the lodge was. Not too shabby, huh?

At dinner, Peek-A-Boo Barn on the iPhone was a huge hit, as usual. Chuck's cousins were certainly entertained!

Day 145, 6-28-10

How old is Chuck?
