Day 31, 1-31-12

Tommy is being VERY tolerant of Lew's loving. And by loving I mean fur-grabbing.

Chuck decided to empty the top drawer of his changing table/dresser. One of the things he found was one of Lew's pacifiers. Lew doesn't use them anymore, so Chuck probably hasn't seen one in two months. He spent the next hour with it in his mouth. Silly boy.

Day 30, 1-30-12

Today, while Chuck was at school, Lew and I visited Daddy at the zoo.
Lew got really into looking at the fish.
DSC_0023

But mostly he loved being with Daddy.

Candyland!

Day 27, 1-27-12

We gave Lew some avocado this evening. He was not all that impressed.
(And does this remind anyone else of Scott Spiezio?)

day 26, 1-26-12

"Mommy, my pants keep falling down." Ah, the new and wonderful problem we are having since he is now wearing BIG BOY UNDERWEAR!!!!

Day 25, 1-25-12

Chuck hanging around the house in his shirt and my long socks. I guess it helps keep him warm as we potty train!

Day 24, 1-24-12

Chuck is really in the habit of climbing into the crib. Please forgive the naked 3 year old....we are working on potty training him.

Day 23, 1-23-12

Lew has a new trick...blowing raspberries!

1-23-12-365

Day 22, 1-22-12

I love moments like these. Lauren was on her bed doing homework (and texting, LOL). Chuck took a bunch of books and climbed up to read next to her. *Melt*

Day 21, 1-21-12

Lew crashed out on our bed.

Day 20, 1-20-12

This is my favorite part of the week...dropping Chuck off at school. We are always a few minutes early in the car pool line, so I unbuckle Chuck and he climbs up to the front seat. I get the best cuddles during those times! We listen to the alphabet song while snuggling until it is time for school.

Day 19, 1-19-12

All three of my boys playing on the iPad.

Day 18, 1-18-12

Chuck chose to nap somewhere other than his bed today. Yup....that is my 37 pound, 3'4" tall THREE year old in his brother's crib.

Day 16, 1-16-12

Today we went bowling as a family with Grandpa. Lew and I watched while the other four bowled. It was so fun! Chuck just loves bowling. He does it all himself....from picking up the ball, to walking to the lane, to rolling the ball. He often loses interest long before his ball actually strikes any pins, but he has a great time anyway.

Day 15, 1-15-12

He is not NEARLY as amused by the hat as I am. Heehee.

Day 14, 1-14-12

The youngest members of our extended family checking each other out. Lew is 5 months and his cousin is about to be 4. They were playing footsie, grabbing hands and giggling at each other.

Day 13, 1-13-12

Yesterday Lew turned 5 months. He is 18 lbs, 5 oz and 27 inches long. Here is one picture from the 5 month shots I took.

Day 12, 1-12-12

We got some snow last night! I am excited that with the boots Chuck was at least willing to go out into the snow. This has not been true before. He hit the ball 3 times before he decided that picking up the snow covered ball was not fun.

Day 10, 1-10-12

Chuck got an alphabet puzzle for Christmas. It is huge! He loves it.

1-10-12-365

Day 9, 1-9-12

Lew got his first taste of food today...in the form of grits given to him by his sister. He was not too sure about it. He did seem to be excited for a second bite, so it wasn't a total disaster. I am sure, though, that most of it ended up on his face and not in his belly.

1-9-12-365

Day 8, 1-8-12

I love this onesie. Makes him look like a football. When I got it I was *SURE* that it would be too big for him to wear at any point during football season. I was really hoping he would be able to wear it by the Superbowl. It fits him perfectly and has for a month. He is a big boy!

Day 3, 1-3-12

Today we celebrated Christmas with my mom.
DSC_0023

Lew got a Pop-A-Tot, basically like a camp chair/exersaucer. He was perfectly content to hang out in there the whole time we were opening presents!
DSC_0035

Chuck and Lew both got camp chairs with their names on it. It is the perfect size for Chuck right now!

Day 1, Happy 2012

Nana reading Chuck is current favorite book, Green Eggs and Ham:
1-1-12-365-2

Lew had his first experience in the exersaucer today. He is a fan!
1-1-12-365-1

It was pointed out to me that this will have to be a Project 366 due to leap year. Keeping the name, though. Heehe.
